Gage Butler (born August 4, 2009) is American singer and songwriter and Tiktok star.[1]
Career[]
Gage started singing at 3-years-old to his family, specifically with his mom, Meagan.[2][3]
In early 2022, 12-year-old Gage went viral on Tiktok for his cover of "End of the Road" by Boyz II Men. On March 7, 2022, He performed on The Ellen Show by singing "Rise Up" by Andra Day, after one of producers saw him on Tiktok.[4][5][6][7]
In January 2023, 14-year-old Butler was reached out by a producer in NY to produced some of his original songs. In November 2023, he has been working on original songs by writing and producing in NY.[8][9][10]
2022 -present: Acapop! Kids[]
In April 2022, 12-year-old Gage was cast to be part of Acapop! after Hoying saw one of his viral videos on TikTok. Scott end up reaching out to Gage and his family by asking if he wanted to be part of Acapop!.[11]
On July 12, 2022, He performed with Acapop! Kids on AGT by singing "My Turn" by Nolan Gibbons which honors him, They got all "YES".[12][13]
On August 30, 2022, Gage performed again with Acapop! Kids on AGT semi final by singing "Glow", an original song. The group didn' t receive enough votes to enter the Top 5 on the night, eliminating them from the competition.[14]
